Elijah's Powers - Opt Out

Elijah comes from a world ravaged by nuclear war that brought about a change in humanity as highlighted in his world info:
One of the unforeseen side effects of the nuclear warfare of the twenty-second century was the effects it had on humanity. The new levels of radiation on the planet created a jump start in terms of evolution, with the world’s population so diminished there came a new trend. Those born in the twenty-second century had the chance to be born gifted with powers that humanity had never seen before. Whether it was magic, science or an act of the divine humanity had been given an advantage when it came to the necessity for redevelopment. These powers were seen by some as a blessing, a sign that humanity was destined to continue and by others as a curse, a sign that humanity had fallen from greatness and been corrupted for it. Attitudes varied between nations and even more so between the factions present within those nations, with some hailing their new gifted young as a new wave, treating them the way one might treat a decorated champion. For others, these children were slaughtered, sacrificed to the concept of a true god with the idea that it might bring them salvation in the new world.

In Elijah's case he has the power of Illusion, a high ranking Augment within NNY's High Tower:
Elijah has the ability to alter the perceptions of people around them. These illusions can be visual, auditory, tactile and even fool the olfactory senses. Over the years Eli has had a significant amount of experience with altering people's perceptions both on a singular person basis and in groups. He can see the difference between his own illusions and reality the same way a human might know the difference between real life and a video. Other people however, without significant mental training, would not be immune to his illusions. They are dependent, though, on a mental hook- Eli would either need visual contact with a target or prolonged exposure to their mind in order to fool them with an illusion.

Please comment below if your character would be immune to Elijah's gifts and if so, would they be immune to illusions targeted at them specifically or rather, his illusions in general (for example Eli is known to use his illusions to alter small things about the reality around him- create twinkling lights, signs, real world comic book wow signs)

Elijah's Permissions

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Definitely okay especially when you factor in the nature of the game. For a 'friendly'/'platonic' level of intimacy I'm open to it with all my CR once Elijah and your character develop a degree of closeness. When it becomes Romantic Elijah is canonically gay and I'd like most of that CR to be discussed prior to the physical affection, even if Eli himself is pretty tactile and affectionate.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Eli definitely hasn't dealt with much physical violence in his life so I'd like to have this discussed prior to the event itself.

RELATIONSHIPS: Elijah will move quite quickly into friendships, being eager to build that kind of thing between himself and any other characters in the game. He's known for being a socialite with a wide and varied social calendar. He isn't necessarily the best at monogamy however he will be open to varied and various degrees of intimate relationships with men.

MENTAL INFORMATION: Elijah has a certain degree of mental prowess thanks to the nature of his gifts and would know how to guard against certain degrees of psychic assault. Moreover, he'd have a better talent than most with regards to working his way into a character's head.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Eli is for all intents and purposes fully human, albeit from the future and with a slightly altered genetic makeup which makes him 'Augmented'. He does however share a human's physiology with no notable medical information.
