History
A native of New New York’s High Tower, Elijah Moore lived quite the perfect life during his formative years. His father, Joseph Moore was a prominent politician among High Tower’s elite, having worked his way there from Mid Tower in order to secure his place within one of the more liberal parties of the modern Supercities; Joseph’s ideas were that the Augmented represented a new dawn for humanity and should be held in high esteem for the advantages they could bring to the twenty-second century’s society. Something that came about, perhaps, as a reflection on Joseph’s personal life- notably his sweetheart, Elizabeth, Elijah’s mother. Elizabeth herself was Augmented, with the ability to bring plans and pictures to life- something which threw her into a career of architecture, head of the planning department for NNY’s High Tower and responsible for some of the huge advances with regards to the modern amenities in NNY’s development.

It came as no surprise then when Eli grew older that his own Augmentation started to develop. A normal child who grew with an active imagination, Eli’s imagination started to take shape simultaneously in the real world as in his own mind. As his Augmentation grew so did Eli’s place within NNY’s society, an illusionist after all was a pretty prestigious position to hold- someone who could entertain NNY’s upper classes with images of times gone by, or of worlds that weren’t ravaged by nuclear warfare. It was something that for Eli was also entertaining and brought him toward new discoveries, his new job meant he could live outside of the curtain of an otherwise sheltered life.

By the age of eighteen Eli had grown from parlour tricks to being responsible for an illusionary gallery in High Tower; a place which dealt with granting the wildest visual desires of its clients. Eli himself became quite popular among social circles; working both within the gallery and occasionally the kind of private parties which had Eli’s social life peaking at the age of eighteen. Introduced to social hierarchies that most only ever guessed at, his circle of friends including people both young and old.

While still considered pretty naïve and with an outlook on the world that’d never been tainted by knowledge of The Fringes or even of The Wasteland, Eli’s life could only be described as #blessed, leaving him a young man that worked on whimsy, desire and imagination while being pampered and content among High Towers uppermost levels.

It was sometimes an issue for his father though, considering the fact that as the son of a prominent politician Eli’s own social activities could lead to a certain degree of trouble. It meant that he grew used to being watched both by his father and his father’s staff which in turn lead to Eli developing a knack for using his powers in his day-to-day life, the illusionist never being completely grounded in reality.

He worked hard, partied harder and always had an extra trick up his sleeve, the better his illusions became, the wilder his imagination and own desires, leaving Elijah in probably the perfect position in life to keep broadening his horizons… even if those horizons could never be broadened outside of High Tower.
Augmentation; powers, skills, abilities
Illusions- Elijah has the ability to alter the perceptions of people around them. These illusions can be visual, auditory, tactile and even fool the olfactory senses. Over the years Eli has had a significant amount of experience with altering people's perceptions both on a singular person basis and in groups. He can see the difference between his own illusions and reality the same way a human might know the difference between real life and a video. Other people however, without significant mental training, would not be immune to his illusions. They are dependent, though, on a mental hook- Eli would either need visual contact with a target or prolonged exposure to their mind in order to fool them with an illusion.
